About Broken Gameplay Studios

Hi my name is Brian, also known as Inphidel, I am a creator of some kind. I created this ‘studio’ to learn. My goal with this studio is to remain a home for my projects and a place to share what I learn and how I learned it. I am inviting anyone else who is open helping others learn to tell their stories or create their experiments in engine.

This site is being re-worked as I re-organize all of my creative endeavors.

GameBox

Currently In development is GameBox. Based of Lyra and its own implementation of G.A.S. (Gameplay Ability System.) our hope is to create a base project that can be shared and extended for our future projects.

G.A.S. is the underlining system used in Fortnite which allows for data driven gameplay. While this might be overkill for your run of the mill single player experience. Learning this system should allow someone to reuse elements between games.

We hope to create and share our systems once they are completed.
