The website has no accounts and does not ask visitors for personal information.
TrailCam
TrailCam runs on the owner's own computer. It reviews their trail-camera videos. When they press upload, it sends that chosen video to their own YouTube channel through the YouTube Data API. The Google sign-in token stays in a private file on that computer. The website does not receive the videos, the token, or the account secret. Nothing is sold or used for ads.
The app provides no account service to the public. Use of TrailCam is limited to its owner.
TrailCam uses YouTube API Services. Google's privacy policy is atwww.google.com/policies/privacy.
What TrailCam handles
On the owner's computer, TrailCam handles the trail-camera videos the owner chooses to review, and the Google sign-in token used when they upload. The token is kept in a private file on that computer. TrailCam uses it to send the chosen video to the owner's YouTube channel through the YouTube Data API.
That upload is shared with YouTube. YouTube then handles the video under Google's privacy policy. This website does not receive the videos, the token, or the account secret. Broken Gameplay Studios does not sell that material and does not use it for ads. TrailCam does not serve advertisements.
Removing the files and the access
The owner can delete the private token file and the videos stored on their computer, and can remove an uploaded video from their YouTube channel. They can also revoke TrailCam's access to their Google account atsecurity.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
